God calls Ananias to launch out into the deep, and minister to Saul, although knowing Saul's reputation as a persecutor of the church.  Ananias' obedience to this difficult call causes him to lead Saul to receiving the gift of the Holy Spirit.  Saul later becomes Paul, the greatest apostle that ever walked the earth.
